Federico Canuto joined Stewart and Stewart in 1983, working mainly on countervailing and antidumping duty cases. He has assisted clients on matters involving various industries, including:

- Steel (automotive, bar and rod, bearing quality, construction casting, pipe and tube, plate, slab, sheet, stainless, structural, special, wire)
Prior to joining Stewart and Stewart, Mr. Canuto worked at the American Society of International Law as assistant to the director of a research project funded by the National Science Foundation on international regulatory regimes of the U.S. Specialized Agencies. Subsequently, he worked as a freelance translator and interpreter, mainly in legal and technical fields, and did research on Italian law for U.S. law firms.
