Geert De Prest, a Belgian national, has been with Stewart and Stewart since 1985, and, in 1993, became the firm's first non-national partner. Mr. De Prest has extensive trade litigation experience, in particular before the Department of Commerce and the Court of International Trade.
Mr. De Prest’s professional experience includes work for a number of U.S. industries, including:

Mr. De Prest was co-chairman at the subcommittee for international trade at the International Trade Section of the DC Bar, is a co-author in several of the firm's publications on international trade matters, and served as a speaker at Judicial Conferences of the Court of International Trade and the Federal Circuit. He is married, has two children, and is a resident of Washington D.C. since 1979.
